The part-time IT Office Administrator will provide organisational, administrative support for the Head of IT and IT Department Management. The role will control administration regarding purchase orders, software licencing and maintenance contracts. Day to day procurement and payment of all hardware, software, service contracts and suppliers/vendors. In addition to administering and maintaining the systems for tracking the IT asset life cycle, managing inventory and maintaining information on software licenses and service level agreements.

Responsibilities:
•  Procure IT hardware and software as required. 
•  Process and raise purchase orders and pay invoices in relation to multiple cost centres and account codes.
•  Review monthly invoices and follow up with vendors. 
•  Provide additional support for IT hardware fulfilment activities and maintain a hardware inventory.
•  Ensure all records are retained and filed as necessary in accordance with existing procedures or new procedures that are implemented.
•  Manage, order and re-stock stationery and office supplies.
•  Update and maintain software / hardware asset and supplier databases.
•  Assist in managing vendors and making sure all services are within the service level agreements.
•  To be disciplined in ensuring our IT assets are effectively managed and auditable.
•  To work with both technical and non-technical personnel to meet service expectations and IT procurement demand.
•  To assist in budget requests ensuring that all records are updated accordingly.

Essential Experience and Skills Required: 
•  Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
•  Previous demonstrated administration experience in a busy office.

Desirable Experience and Skills Required:
•  An IT/Computer Science related degree or equivalent practical attainment.
•  IT Asset lifecycle management experience.
•  Experience using Asset Management Software e.g. JIRA\Insight and Device Management e.g. JAMF.
