OVERVIEW:

Are you our next HR Manager? We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our People team, to help roll out the People strategy and provide HR expertise to our Hong Kong office, advocating change, developing a high-level of employee engagement and establishing, maintaining, and developing the businesses culture.

Gymshark was formed in 2012 in the UK and in January 2021 was evaluated as a Β£1 billion global business within the sports/apparel industry. We grew from a screen-printing operation in a garage, into one of the fastest-growing and most recognisable brands in fitness. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Playing a key role in the deployment of the Global People Strategy, facilitating effective implantation of new people management initiatives across the Gymshark HK office
  • Transforming and promoting the international business's core values into local language and actions.
  • Supporting the design of the local people strategy, ensuring alignment between the business operations, HR practices and companywide objectives.
  • Ensure local policy alignment between local law and Gymshark's global policies.
  • Have a keen understanding of the business's strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organisational agility to guide HO's decision making
  • Be a trusted Partner to the managers, providing a tailored approach to their People Plans
  • Ensure that all employee relations issues, disciplinaries, grievances and capability issues are handled in line with legislation, guiding managers through the process where necessary.
  • Work alongside the Performance team to define and deploy People development strategies, facilitating effective implementation of new people performance initiatives across all levels in GSHK
  • Supporting and collaborating with UK HQ on payroll & tax; make sure all aligns with local legislations, taxation, and compliance considerations
  • Owning the local communications for pay and perks (Reward), wellbeing and mobility ensuring globally consistency, but remotely relevant.
  • Driving improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight, and internal best practice for different types of benefits
  • Managing the full life cycle of recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing negotiating, and closing candidate's offer letters
  • Work closely with UK HQ Talent team to ensure all tools, policies, process, etc are aligned, enhancing hiring manager engagement and participation
  • Supporting hiring managers on preparing adverts
  • Working closely with local recruitment agencies
  • Working closely with Occupational Health support for employee support and referrals
  • Liaising with UK HQ and local office on office safety, compliance to local H&S legislation
  • Designing, defining, and driving the local onboarding programme
  • Supporting global onboarding projects, providing local insights, and supporting with any practical tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • CIPD equivalent or experience equivalent
  • Strong Employment Legislation knowledge
  • Stand-alone HR Manager experience
  • Experience of collaborating across international teams
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Proven commercial experience
