JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for a HR Operations Advisor to join the HR Operations Team. This role bridges the gap between the HR Operations Team, HR Business Partner Community, and our Employee Relations Centre of Expertise.
You will provide generalist HR guidance and administrative support to managers and employees across the organisation on all employment-related matters including (but not limited to); joiners, movers, leavers, absence management, long term absence, flexible working, and simple disciplinary matters.
The HR Operations Advisor provides a point of escalation for more complex HR queries related to HR processes, policy, operational service failures, and escalations and therefore requires a considered approach with strong verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide generalist HR advice and administrative support across a full spectrum of people related topics across Spain, Portugal and European Countries
• Own delivery of local statutory reporting activities liaising with relevant teams as required (Payroll, HR Business Partners, Reward, Employee Relations, Legal, etc)
• Acts as a point of escalation for complex employee queries and service failures
• Supports the business with employee relations tasks including the creation of associated documentation
• Provide generalist support for 'right to work' cases, partnering with Global Mobility and Reward Operations as needed
• Use HR data to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer experience
• Support the training and upskilling of the HR Operations Coordinators and HR Service Desk Advisors as required
• Work closely with HR Business Partners to understand upcoming HR activities in the country/countries which you support
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Good working knowledge of employment legislation
• Good understanding and practical experience of simple employee relations procedures and processes
• Be customer-focused and proactive
• Ability to coach line managers
• Experience working in a HR environment
• Computer literate - MS Word, Office, Teams
• Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken
