Junior Manager Product Safety (m/w/d)

As a Junior Product Safety Manager, you will be part of a high performing team and required to work with vigour, agility and an open mind while being diligent in handling product safety matters with a focus on our Zalando Lounge brands.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• Responsible for core contribution to the compliance framework, providing support and guidance for external and internal stakeholders to minimize risks associated with product compliance relevant for this business model.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining product safety processes and legal requirements for suppliers.
• Implement and lead strategic concepts/continuous improvement of large scale initiatives; creating project plans and executing them until completion.
• Able to make decisions with stakeholders’ requirements in mind, making sure to coordinate bigger decisions and projects with Senior Managers/Team Leads.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in product safety (min. 1-2 years)
• Expertise in compliance systems and good grasp on legislation applicable to offered product range
• Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills with the declared intention to drive prevention focus. Along with the ability to lead projects from start to finish
• Excellent supplier management skills, communication and negotiation background to support key teams
• You have commercial understanding and good communication skills in English and German
• Advanced knowledge of software applications in project management, word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentations as well as Office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
