Creative Retoucher

Firusas.com is an e-commerce startup targeting premium fashion brands to women in Europe. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative team player who will play a critical role in creating original content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• You'll be fully dedicated to High-end retouching  ensuring that our advertising campaigns, editorials and Lookbook shoots are retouched to a precise and consistent standard. 
• Your well organised (layered) Photoshop files will incorporate precise channel masks and paths. You will carry out liquify/transformations and skin treatment with a sensibility and finesse that is relevant to our image language and style. 
• You'll follow art direction and process feedback from other team members and provide your own recommendations to best achieve the goals of a project. 
• Coordinate with the Photographer and Creative Director to identify existing process bottlenecks and highest priority improvement points
• Automatize photographic and post-production processes
• Master the color management workflow processes keeping the color consistency (screen calibration, camera profiling, etc.)
• Proficiency in color management and retouching using Mac OS X, Adobe Creative Suite incl. Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, Premiere; Capture One, DaVinci, Windows & Mac environments, server organization and FTP Clients
• You'll follow art direction and process feedback from other team members and provide your own recommendations to best achieve the goals of a project. 
   

WHO YOU ARE

• A degree or a comparable qualification in the field of media communication, post production or photography and at least 3 years of professional experience with high volume in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment (within the fashion industry a plus)
• Oriented to teamwork with the ability to follow creative ideas and briefs.
• Strong organizational and asset management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects with short turnarounds
• As part of an international team, you are comfortable communicating with your colleagues in English or German
