THE ROLE

We are looking for a Principal engineer, with a mindset obsessed about automation, scalability and infrastructure reliability, to be part of our Developers Productivity team. Your mission is to Empower developers and partners to boost Software Development Life-Cycle efficiency through standards and guidelines, user engagement, and customised self-service environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop automation and tools with a DevOps mindset on one or more strategic projects in the Developers Productivity team related with Infrastructure Automation, CI Pipelines and creating self customised environments.
• Improve our continuous integration model with smart build and test strategies.
• Follow good practices about scale, performance, geo-distribution, multi-cloud, code maintenance, documentation. Keep Evolving, Keep Improving.
• Fully own what you build by supporting the colleagues on using and extending the automation and tools so that they can deliver faster, better, harder, and stronger! You build it, you own it!

WHO YOU ARE

• Graduated in Computer Science or another technical discipline
• A professional with at least 10 years of demonstrable experience in the IT engineering field
• A person that can be the Technical Reference
• Experienced on troubleshoot in a Kubernetes environment
• Experienced on CI/CD practises and comfortable with Jenkins technologies
• Experienced on object-oriented languages (C#, Java or Groovy)
• Experienced Docker, Microservices, and REST APIs
• Knowledgeable with Infrastructure as Code best practises and technologies
• Always looking for the reliability, scalability, and performance of your software end to end
• Learning mindset, being able to research and implement features in unfamiliar technologies in collaboration with experts
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
