Shopify empowers millions of merchants from all over the world. Our mission is ambitious and that means we're hiring great people to join us to meet the needs of our merchants. As Shopify is now a Digital-by-Design company, we mostly connect digitally with our teammates. However, we also occasionally meet in real life (IRL) for impactful, intense moments of connection, or Bursts as we call them. And we're building a small but mighty team that will work alongside leaders to build the best Bursts for their specific needs. That's where you come in! We're looking for an Event Producer to join our team who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences.
You'll be a part of the Employee Experience team at Shopify with a mandate to connect Shopify employees to the mission, making commerce better for everyone, and each other through a simple and inclusive work experience. In this role, you'll focus on collaboration and consultation with a variety of stakeholders across Shopify while planning their Events. You will also support our internal teams with the creation and curation of their in-person experiences from ideation to completion.
