Director, Retail, CK BJ

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage retail operations, and Visual merchandising teams of CK BJ (Full Price Business) to deal with the challenging business environment and stay competitive. Formulate salesstrategies and ensure the efficient executions to achieve budgets and goals of CK BJ (Full Price Business).

Responsible for the real estate development for BJ CK Full Price stores by leveraging the brand power including of all the new openings, renewals for over 50 stores and building the strong collaborative relationship with the landlords to utilize the landlord's resources and strengthen the brand positioning in the market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Formulate sales strategies and annual budget and make swift adjustment if needed to adapt to the new trend and challenge.
• Establish the holistic system, process & standard level relevant to retail operation.
• Study and analyze all the sales reports to keep track on the business trends and advise on recommendations accordingly. Implement action plans to achieve the sales goal.
• Collaborate with all functional groups to ensure the retail stores operate in an efficient, secure and high-service manner.
• Manage the store operations to achieve a consistent and customer-friendly brand experience.
• Ensure operational policies and procedures are well - developed/ upgraded in line with the co. policy and new changes in the industry, Implement effectively.
• Well control the store openings following the co. direction with the competitive commercial terms.
• On time renewal for all the existing stores to avoid any delays in the operations.
• Close monitoring on the landlords' monthly payment together with the finance team and take immediate action to ensure the timely settlement.
• Strong negotiation power in the collaborative promotions for CK with the landlords for better profit and leverage the landlord's resource, such as landlord official social media platforms, outdoor billboard and Display points, etc. to create the brand awareness in the market.
• Collect and monitor the information on the market trend, competitors' performance, customer's preference as a front liner on a regular basis. Brainstorm the solutions with the functional teams to stay competitive.
• Hire and train the retail sales force and build up a strong team to achieve the goal.
• Supervise stores customer service to be best in class in the segment.

  Experience:
  

• 10 years of relevant experience in Apparel fashion industry, focusing on retail operations and store management, and 4-5 years of senior management role is necessary.
• Experience in leading a sizable team in Mainland China.
• Experience in working with international team.
