I’m a grandmother and I have been holding “Nana’s Day Camp” for 5 of our grandkids for several years now four days in the summer.
Last summer one of our days was about studying the American Revolution. We began with what lead up to the Revolution. I wrote a play and I found stick puppets of the main characters. The children loved it!
This year I would like to cover the actual war. We will do another play, We do other activities involving the theme of the day. So, I am interested in your lapbook. I found the downloadable file for it, but I’m a little confused as to what exactly is a lapbook and how do the children use it. Can you explain it to me? Thanks.
