I love it when my kids are excited about learning and beg to learn more. Sciece is one of those subjects that, when done well, really captures the hearts and minds of kids! So I am always on the lookout for new and exciting science projects that will make them excited about learning and get them eager to experiment. This seems to simple to work, but I promise you – it does! And it is SO COOL!

Start by drawing a simple picture on the glass with any color (s) of dry erase markers. A stick figure is a good one to start.

Slowly pour water onto the plate or into the bowl slowly to lift up the drawing.

We tinted our water blue so you could see the water being poured.

Swirl the water around to make the picture dance and move.
