Job Overview:
The Copywriter will write captions for organic social media, help conceptualize our monthly organic social media content calendar, and assist with Instagram community management, as well as craft emails, site assets, merchandise copy for catalogs, and more. The Copywriter will collaborate with art directors and other writers to concept and create dynamic, compelling, and brand-right assets that expand upon and elevate the Bloomingdale's voice. The Copywriter should have a strong attention to detail, the ability to self-edit, and an understanding of and appreciation for what's trending in pop culture and on social media at the moment.

Essential Functions:
- Write clear, engaging, and brand-right copy across social posts, emails and homepage messages, paid media, and some print assets, including merchandise copy
- Curious and inspired by what's next, with an eye on industry trends, successful campaigns, and copy , particularly as it pertains to social media
- Effectively manage the production workflow for assigned families of business: meet strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards for writing and proofreading
- Ensure consistency and adherence to Bloomingdale's copy and legal standards
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
3-5 years related experience
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
