Payment Administrator - 6month FTC

JOB PURPOSE
The Payments Administrator position is a 6 month fixed term contract and will support the Payments team and Director of Payments in organising and supporting the payments team's day to day duties.
Reporting to the Director of Global Payments, the role will primarily be responsible for providing admin support, resolution to internal and external queries. You will work with the finance and cash office teams, develop a close relationship and providing support for all payment's functions. Organising the payments team inbox and proving assistance to the payments team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organising the day to day payments department, working through the payments inbox, resolving department queries and scheduling team meetings.
• Organising and managing acquirer queries such as; balance transfers and gateway support tickets.
• Working with internal and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a systematic and timely fashion.
• Prepping reports for the weekly transaction, looking for inconsistencies and resolving queries with the cash office and finance departments.
• Document processes for the support function of Payments.
• Contacting new payment providers making introductions/ contacting research and preparation for meetings with the senior payments team.
• Prepare the data to monitor payment method performance - including authorisation and conversion rates - across all business channels.
• Support the Global Director of Payment and Senior Payments Analyst with email queries, meetings, reporting and day to day operations and team functions.
• Support the business when launching new brands, channels and products. Research and contact existing partners with queries and support tickets.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, Treasury department, Finance, Cash Office, Legal, Digital, Retail, I.T and Procurement.
• A communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and partners and enjoys learning from others.
• Support payment projects on a administrive and analytical level.
