Pumpkin Science

You can use real pumpkins and cut open top and scoop out inside, but I prefer to skip the taking out all the guts part and use an artificial fake pumpkin from target or Johann Fabrics. Carefully use your knife to cut out a silly, spooky, or funny face. You can use any size pumpkin, just remember the bigger the pumpkin the more material you will need to get the huge WOW effect.

Now fill the inside of the pumpkin about halfway with baking soda. Add a few drops of dish soap to the baking soda and food coloring if you’d like. Place the mini pumpkin on a tray or plate to catch the lava mess. Pour vinegar intoĀ  the mini pumpkin.
